The last Funko NFT drop was back on February 1 which feels like a lifetime ago considering everything that has happened since then. Now we have a new drop and it's the 80's classic Transformers turn for the Funko NFT treatment.
Transformers NFTs drop March 15 @ 2pm ET.
We have everything you need to know about this latest Funko Transformers NFT drop, so grab a pint of, eh, energon and read on.
Autobots, roll out!
As has always been the case with Funko NFT drops, there will be two packs available at launch - a Standard ($9.99) and a Premium ($29.99) option.
Pack | Amount Released | No. of NFTs | Launch Price | Launch Date |
---|---|---|---|---|
Standard Pack | 18,000 | 5 | $9.99 | 15/03/2022 |
Premium Pack | 18,000 | 15 | $29.99 | 15/03/2022 |
The standard pack features the de facto leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime, and comes with 5 Transformers NFTs. The Premium Pack features Megatron, the ruler of the evil Decepticons, and comes with 15 Transformers NFTs.
There are 5k more premium packs than the Nickelodeon NFT drop, but 18k less standard packs.
Packs will be available on launch day on Droppp.io and can only be bought with a credit/debit card. The drop is limited to $60 and you can rejoin the queue to buy more, albeit this is very unlikely to be successful.
There is a lot to like in this Funko NFT drop, with many of your favourite sentient shape-shifting robots brought to life in all of Funko's NFT glory.

Ever wondered how many Transformers packs have been opened? The number of Legendary or Grail NFTs still to be found? Or the top account holders of each redeemable pop?
Now you can with the excellent PopInStock Transformers NFT tracker.
There are a total of six Transformers Funko Pops! to collect.
Five of these can be claimed by collecting the Grail (limited to 999) and the four legendary (limited to 1,550 each) NFTs.
Rumble and Devastator make a physical appearance for the Decepticons, whilst Hot Rod and Sideswipe turn up for the Autobots. Of course Optimus Prime the Autobot leader is the grail.
These funko physicals look incredible, though I do wish the grail wasn't all gold as the NFT itself looks incredibly colourful in comparison. Still won't mind it sitting on my soon to be Funko shelf!
Learn everything you need to know about redeeming your physical Funko Pop! in our ultimate guide.
All redemption dates for all Funko NFT sets can be found here:
The Royalty collection reward is claimed when you complete the entire 103 NFT set (excluding legendary, Grail, Series Coin and 1-of-1).
In simple terms, if you collect one of each Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic variant from the set, you'll have completed the Royalty Collection and will be eligible to receive an exclusive Freddy Funko Bumblebee Pop! (above) when redemption coins are distributed.
And my word, does that Freddy kick ass!
If you are new to Funko NFTs and can't wait to get your hands on some of the epic redeemables, here are a few things you need to get started.

You may miss out on the launch day drop, have the thirst for more Funko Packs, or want to buy singles to finish off your Royalty set.
To do all of this, you will need to buy from the secondary market. To get set-up you will need a WAX cloud wallet .
Droppp and WAX Cloud are two completely separate NFT wallets, but it is possible to transfer your Funko NFTs between them.
When we talk about the secondary market, we mean a peer-to-peer marketplace such as the AtomicHub. You can learn how to buy NFTs from the AtomicHub in our article below:
You will also need to buy WAXP tokens to purchase from the AtomicHub. Read our guide below and learn how to buy WAX:
