The Ultimate Guide to Funko Daria NFTs
Join Droppp on July 2, 2024, at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET for the launch of Funko Daria NFTs. Includes limited edition Funko Pops to collect!
Barely two weeks go by without a new Funko NFT drop. This time we're in for a 90's treat with the teenage action series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Power Rangers NFTs drops August 23 @ 2pm ET.
Since Funko started their NFT drops last year, this is the one franchise I was waiting for.
As a kid, I had every Power Rangers toy, from the Morpher Belt Buckle, complete with power coin, to the Blade Blaster. I wanted to be Jason, the Red Ranger, and in my mind, I god damn was.
Fast forward nearly 30 years, and we are back revisiting an old friend, this time through Funko NFTs. If you're new to Funko NFTs, we have everything you need to get started and more.
It's Morphin' Time!!
Funko offers the usual two NFT packs at launch - a Standard ($9.99) and a Premium ($29.99) option.
Pack | Amount Released | No. of NFTs | Launch Price | Launch Date |
---|---|---|---|---|
Standard Pack | 22,500 | 5 | $9.99 | 23/08/2022 |
Premium Pack | 22,500 | 15 | $29.99 | 23/08/2022 |
Coming off the back of the largest Funko NFT drop, the Power Rangers NFT drop doesn't hit those dizzying heights (28% smaller), but it's still the third largest drop we have seen ( 12% smaller than Funko DC NFTs).
If this is your first Funko NFT drop, the only difference between a standard and premium pack is the amount of NFTs inside. For example, there are no bonuses for buying a premium pack over three standard packs.
Packs will be available on launch day on Droppp.io and can only be bought with a credit/debit card. The drop is limited to $60 and you can rejoin the queue to buy more if you are very lucky (highly unlikely due to the size of this drop).
You can enter the queue for packs around 10 minutes before launch (the 'Purchase In' timer will change to 'Join The Queue').
If you fail to grab packs at launch, you can buy from the secondary market (guide further down).
All your favourite Power Rangers characters are here, including Jason, Kimberly, Tommy, Rita and more.
Everyone wants to get hold of those rare legendary and grail NFTs, so here are your pull odds:
NFT Rarity Type | No of Templates | % Odds Of Unpacking | Total Circulation | Per Unique Template |
---|---|---|---|---|
Common | 44 | 49.23% | 221,541 | 5035/5036 |
Uncommon | 28 | 26.88% | 120,960 | 4,320 |
Rare | 18 | 14% (6/1) | 63,000 | 3,500 |
Epic | 15 | 8% (11.5/1) | 36,000 | 2,400 |
Legendary | 4 | 1.67% (59/1) | 7,500 | 1,875 |
Grail | 1 | 0.22% (454/1) | 999 | 999 |
1 of 1 | 6 | 0.006% (0.02% Premium) | 6 | 1 |
Series Coin | 1 | 10% (30% Premium) | 9,000 | 9,000 |
Like we said, it's still a sizeable drop. The odds of hitting a grail are only better than Avatar (624/1) and DC (499/1). Legendary numbers are also trimmed down compared to those drops, with 1,875 of each legendary up for grabs, but the odds of pulling have increased (59/1 compared to Avatar's 73/1 and DC's 61/1).
A 1-of-1 is an ultra-rare, non-redeemable NFT. The odds of pulling from a standard pack is 16666/1 for this drop. This will appear as a bonus 6th slot within your pack. A premium pack gives you the same odds as pulling a 1-of-1 as 3 standard packs.
A Series Coin is another bonus collectable NFT (non-redeemable) that will also appear in the 6th slot if pulled.
Ever wondered how many Power Rangers packs have been opened? The number of Legendary or Grail NFTs still to be found? Or who are the top account holders of each redeemable pop?
Now you can with the excellent PopInStock Power Rangers NFT tracker.
If you're a fan of Power Rangers like me, you will love what's on offer here. There are six physical Power Rangers-themed Funko Pops up for grabs (including the royalty pop).
Five of the redeemables can be claimed by collecting the Grail (limited to 999) and the four legendary (limited to 1,875 each) NFTs.
Red Ranger, Scorpina, Zordon and Ranger Slayer make up the legendary redeemables. They all look fantastic, with the Red Ranger a personal highlight for me, complete with Dragon Shield, Power Sword and Dragon Dagger! It's a Pop of beauty!
The most unusual has to go to Zordon. The wise galactic wizard captured as a head on a stick...yes, please!
The Green Ranger makes up the grail, complete with the Sword of Darkness, depicting the evil version of himself, which is really cool. Of course, he is no match for Jason and his Dragon Dagger (in both the series and in physical pop!).
Learn everything you need to know about redeeming your physical Funko Pop! in our ultimate guide.
All redemption dates for all Funko NFT sets can be found here:
The Royalty collection reward is claimed when you complete the entire 105 NFT set (excluding legendary, Grail, Series Coin and 1-of-1).
In simple terms, if you collect all 44 common, 28 uncommon, 18 rare and 15 epic variants from the set, you'll have completed the Royalty Collection and will be able to redeem an exclusive Freddy Funko as Megazord (above) when redemption coins are distributed.
The Royalty collection Pop! is usually often sought after, even by those not overly interested in the Funko NFT drop theme.
This is a badass Freddy and will be highly sought after.
If you are new to Funko NFTs and can't wait to get your hands on some of the epic redeemables, here are a few things you need to get started.
You will need to sign-up for a Funko Droppp wallet.
This wallet allows you to house your new Power Rangers NFTs, keep Jason and the gang safe, open Funko packs and redeem physical rewards.
Learn how to register for a free or paid account, open packs, redeem physicals and more in our ultimate Droppp guide:
You may miss out on the launch day drop, have the thirst for more Funko Packs, or want to buy singles to finish off your Royalty set.
To do all of this, you will need to buy from the secondary market. To get set up you will need a  WAX cloud wallet .
Droppp and WAX Cloud are two completely separate NFT wallets, but it is possible to transfer your Funko NFTs between them which is needed to trade on the secondary market.
When we talk about the secondary market, we mean a peer-to-peer marketplace such as the AtomicHub. You can learn how to buy NFTs from the AtomicHub in our article below:
You will also need to buy WAXP tokens to purchase from the AtomicHub. Read our guide below and learn how to buy WAX:
